Student Awards

  • Student Design Awards 2020

This initiative is committed to inspire and inform the next generation of store designers by setting live briefs in partnership with major retailers and brands.

The focus is on physical interiors, but cross-overs with digital design – through in-store installations and services or apps to build a customer’s experience of the brand and the retail environment and facilitate sales and merchandising.

In 2020 students from six colleges entered the contest, tackling briefs set by three participating retailers: Berghaus, Pets at Home, and Pizza Express.

Previous winners are often offered paid internships at both the retailer they designed for, and at the design agency which worked as their mentor during the competition.
