For the last two years, I have been working at T.M.Lewin leading their strategic initiative to develop a Marketplace business for the brand. The brand is a significant player in the menswear market and has been around since 1898. During my time I have worked on building the marketplace business from scratch with two key players – Ebay and Zalando. This has been a challenging but rewarding task as it entailed educating the business to a very different way of working. 

My experience of building this leg of the business has at times felt like running a start-up within a company – developing a business plan and new processes, ensuring the organisation is aligned to the needs and timelines of the “customer” that are often new to the people in the organisation. It has been a labour of love but worth the journey.
